Set on 300 rolling acres in south-central Pennsylvania, the Mercersburg campus combines natural beauty and stately architecture with the best in high-tech sophistication. Visitors are captivated by the Chapel spire, the panoramic landscape, the classic buildings. They’re moved by the tranquil atmosphere, the magnificent trees, the space to live and breathe. And they’re just as impressed by the Academy’s modern facilities. From recently renovated residence halls to a campuswide wireless network, Mercersburg has the tools you’ll need to learn and thrive.

Swimming at Mercersburg has a long tradition of excellence and has fielded 31 swimming Olympians. Former Olympic head coach Pete Williams heads Mercersburg's swimming program, which has produced numberous prep school All-Americans and other swimmers that have gone on to represent a wide variety of colleges and universities throughout the nation.

Our swimming complex contains a nine-lane, 25-yard pool; the average depth is 5 feet. This fast facility, which has been the site of state and regional championship meets, is equipped with a Colorado Timing system complete with a printout board for spectator convenience. We have an underwater filming room and video system, swim benches, a Vasa Trainer, and a Power Rack for in-water training.
